An eSIM is a digital SIM card embedded in the phone. Without inserting a physical card you can open a line by loading the operator profile onto the device with a QR code or the app.

Supported devices
Many smartphones, tablets and smartwatches released in recent years support eSIM. If the Settings menu of your device shows Add eSIM under SIM manager or Cellular plans, it is supported. The device compatibility check in our app does this automatically.
Activating eSIM on Lavanta
- Download the app and choose your plan.
- Verify your ID and face biometrically.
- Scan the on-screen QR code with the device camera.
- Your line is active when the profile is loaded.
Moving an existing number to eSIM
If you use a physical SIM, you can move your number to an eSIM by submitting a SIM change request in the app. During this process the old SIM is deactivated; make sure you have another internet connection (Wi-Fi) with you.
When changing phones, use the eSIM transfer step in the app to move your eSIM to the new device.
